Election Day!

So the kids have been learning about the election process at school, and they got a chance to "vote" for President today. Blake said he voted for Obama "because he likes basketball" and Aubri chose McCain "because he doesn't have yucky teeth." Hilarious! Those reasons are as good as any I could have come up with!

So we are finally getting all settled into our new place and I figured I better get some pictures up while I am STILL Pregnant (While I still have time that is). It is still a work in progress and I don't have everything unpacked yet but Here is our humble little Abode!

The kids had Soccer Fest this weekend. They did their team pictures, and had some fun on the bounce houses, getting their faces painted, watching someone make balloon animals, and eating cotton candy and dippin dots. Here are some pictures.

First Day of School!

The sun is in my eyes...but I will smile anyway...It is WAAAYYY too early to be smiling....get out of my face!

OK, so the kids had to be at school at 8am, which means we got there at 7:45 am...so we would have time to take pictures and get everyone to the right classroom. Can you tell Blake is NOT happy about being up that early?! He was also really nervous about being in a new class.

But, I wish I had Chris's camera when I left Blake in his classroom, because I thought his face would crack from the huge smile he had on his face. He found a girl he knew from last year and they sit next to each other in class. He is excited to be in FIRST GRADE! And Aubri was just fine leaving us to go to Preppie K. She has a couple of friends from the neighborhood in her class, and is excited to be there with them.

**SIGH** They are growing up so fast!
